Flooring       1.External knots being removed     2. Bamboo pole is sized and stripped.    3. Knots and exterior skin being removed from strip.     4. Strip being kiln abd dry.     5. Strips are laminated together and compressed in three layers. RECOMMEDED METHOD OF FIXING CONCRETE: The flooring can be laid directly onto a levelled and providing it has been ground to a satisfactory surface, or to be sand blasted (levelled concrete surface), then apply adhesive ROBERTS 600. Alternatively, lay a sub-base with 7mm ply wood or particle board by using ROBERTS 600 and concrete nail, then use hidden nailing system and ROBERTS 600 to fix the flooring. In most case, after dust free the concrete surface (levelled), the adhesive ROBERTS 600 can be apply directly with a 3mm "V" notched trowel, then place the Bamboo flooring with care. PARTICLE BOARD: The Bamboo flooring can be nailed directly onto a prepared particleboard floor by using ROBERTS 600 and hidden nailing system. JOISTS: The Bamboo flooring can be hidden nailed directly onto floor joists at 400mm centres (accurately). This method of fixing must follow with extreme care of protecting the flooring during construction.
